I just watched this movie on Lifetime television called "The Princess and the Marine". Apparently, it's a true story about a marine Jason Jackson stationed in the Middle Eastern country Bahrain who fell in love with Al Kalifa the Princess and planned her escape to the U.S. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4059783.stm http://www.guidedones.com/issues/women/sheikhamer.htm http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/english/doc/2004-12/02/content_396648.htm I'm just amazed how watching this hollywood story of like a re-make of "Prince and Me" and then at the end to find out that it's real. The movie ended, right "happy ever after" and guess what, the next caption says that they divorced after 5 years. And now she's going back to Bahrain. "They could not have been more different. Their relationship could not have been more difficult. She was Muslim, he was Mormon. She was rich and privileged, he was a commoner." "Johnson worked as a valet parker, parking the cars of hotel and casino guests, while she was increasingly tempted by the nightlife of the gambling mecca, frequenting clubs late at night and ignoring her husband, he said." "The newspaper reported that Al Khalifa Johnson told her husband, Jason Johnson, to get a job, while the ex-Marine, reduced in rank for forging a fake identification for Meriam, wanted to attend college." Hollywood is great. Tragic young love stories are great. I bet the marine life is great. hahaha it's an adventure i like one of the movie quotes goes something like this "marines always look/stare ahead, and they patiently wait" haha wattta romantic. Reminds me of this taiwan commercial with a girl waving cookies at the and the human statue he doesnt blink haha. Gosh i need to watch tv more often to get more useless junk in my head. This is one reason i like being home home....my comfy sofa and the tv....

Ok those two were dumb entries. I want to right a serious one. Seriously, I feel this year was a waste. This year I could have spend so much time that I spent doing nothing and procrastinating to do something productive. Even though I clearly will not write a resolution for next year. I absolutely need to get to a point where I am able to do what I really want to do. This year I seriously feel I've become a little dumber. Look at my fucking transcript, getting hella lot of Cs. I need to set my priorities straight, do things ahead of time. I actually regret taking Social Dance and Choir this quarter because I seriously could have spent the 8 hours of each week either studying or relaxing. Although I loved dancing...its amazing, i could seriously just have taken it in a less busy quarter. And I really hated taking the bus. I'm reallly proud of my Writing 39C grade. I got a B. All that to compensate for the two Cs I got in my economics classes. My GPA this quarter sucked. I haven't read an entire book for my own pleasure this year. at all. I spent the summer reading Nickel and Dimed, and procrastinating more. There are so many books in my shelf that could really boost up my intelligence IQ a notch that I should really start looking at. I am insane. I want to take 20 units next quarter, as well as take sailing on saturday, take a bellydancing and massage class at the ARC, go to the gym often, be an active in UV and rush for a sorority, and be in a relationship at the same time. driving me nuts. And yet I want to have time for myself to read, and enjoy my weekend. My options are dropping down to 16 units, not going home so often, and using time wisely. Thank god i'm getting a permit so that i can go to the ARC anytime and not waste time waiting for the damn bus. And seriously. he called me fat. hahaha! no joke, but hey then i dont take it as an insult, but its direct and i hear it from my family a lot of times.I know i'm a little chubby here and there, but ya know he'll be my motivation to get in shape. i dunno if thats gonna work though...cuz i eat a lot anyway... you know what else i want? To get away and try something new....I want to try snowboarding in big bear, sailing...I really want to be a S1 skipper, i wanna try parasailing sounds so much fun, go to Catalina, go take a trip somewhere....or u know i wanna be in a sports team, get in shape, be in basketball team, kayaking or something....try horseback. errr what am i doing......one thing at a time.....i tell myself there's still time, but theres a few months left till its decided if im to go to taiwan for next year..yet i doubt my GPA will go up. so many choices and choices. and u know what else....i miss ingrid! hey u, ingrid, all the way in El Salvador...u hear that ? I miss you! hope all is well and ur new years is dandy. all right im out. too much ranting, yet again.

I'm planning to get a black video ipod ..... this one over here! because I haven't been been cool for 3 years, and yes...you all make fun of me with my CD player.....and also so I can ignore Remington back because he ignores me when he listens to his ipod on the bus........well actually i cant do that cuz i wont be taking the bus next quarter haha!! blah!! So tell me which one should i get the 30 GB one for 299 where it's thin or spend 100 dollars more on a 60 GB one that is a little bit fatter and holds double ? i'm debating but I'm leaning toward the 60GB.......do I need THAT much capacity?? I only have like 2322 songs on my computer....and a 60GB can hold 75,000 songs! how much videos tho? hmm... OPINIONS!!! TELL ME!!!

Went to see Los Amigos Invisibles with Henry Ling Ling Ling yesterday!!!!! We got there at 9, but the concert didn't start till 11!! We had to hear this other introductory band who sang "Where is my whiskey...." hahaha..... I brought my camera in, but then the stupid security guard caught me and told me to put it in my car...i pretended to..but whatever, but a big thanks to Henry for putting it in his pocket so i got to take more! My camera ran out of batteries for live view, but it still let me take pics!! thank god! I met this girl Christina who was also at Avalon in LA earlier, she was like over 21 so she did get me Hypnotiq with Pineapple.. it was like 8 bucks! holy crap! it was soo good but i couldn't taste the alcohol >_<. hahah!! Can't wait to go to Taiwan next year where its legal!!! Some songs they sang: Amor Cuchi-Cuchi Sexy Caliente La Vecina Mujer Policia Ponte En Cuatro Que Rico Mami Te Extrano Mastrubation Session!!!! This morning I went sailing, took pictures for my photography slides project due Monday, developed them, bought 10 rolls of black and white film for my project and ranch 99 with john.... Late tonight, I met up with Sara Riviello and Van Leynes at Chapman U and I drove to The Block and ate chinese food, we orginally wanted to go see Harry Potter but it was sold out, but we just strolled around. me and Sara ended up shopping butonly I ended up buying a nice shirt and a dress from papaya yay! i spent like 40 bucks, while both of em spent nothing. Sara kept wanting to buy smokes but shes trying to go without it and me van made her stop. We said we'll all go hookah sometime instead. So ya later on we all went to hang out at Van's dorm, and me and Sara were running around being random and crazy taking pics of each other with Van's cam hahaha, its soooo funny can't wait till he sends them to me. It's pretty crazy and everything feels different when I'm hanging out with ISM pplz, its like going back to the past yet staying in the present..so much memories, and the nostalgia feeling comes back. I havne't seen sara or caught up with her since we drifted apart after middle school, and Van i saw 2 summers ago at Angela's bday party and all the way back in 7th grade too, but we didn't really talk then. Funny how u get closer after u leave ISM. Speaking of ISM, Erin Hoyer msged me from thefacebook and she's down in SD state. how random and exciting at the same time.....and also I was just talking to Alex McCabe online woahz and... Ok so Van's in charge of this Chapman after party thing for some kaba hip hop fashion show i think also at UCI and imma go haha Dec. 1 yay! And Dec. 8 going to Tina's Formal hehehe I'm at home now, and home is lovely, than spending time alone at the apartment. boo. I've been listening to way too much Jay Chou and his new album. I can't wait to live in Taiwan for a year. How I miss asia.....haven't been back for 2 years! So what's up with this sailing madness!!?! (and also the free photo uploads from xanga..)

I was looking forward to the Night Sailing event.... I left my lovely street parking spot and drove to my stats class....after class, the sun was setting.....there was a beautiful skyline on my drive to Newport my color fim was loaded....... but...... there was NO wind... I had some free food........and ........left back home......and had to park in the residential area 2 blocks away....... dissapointed . Now I have to get back on working on my advocacy essay thesis and study for my stats test on friday.....(can't fail it!!!!) Class schedule next quarter. Window opens Nov. 23 at 10:30 during photo lab class. Arts Core 1D Digital Arts Drama 50A Intro to Costume Design Econ 20B Econ Stats 110B Bio Sci 9B Bio and Chem of Cooking 20 fun units. Extra Curricular: Capri 2 Sailing Massage Uniting Voices Dance Sport/UCI ballroom? Lovely. I'm excited........
